Back to lifting weights!

So today at the gym I lifted arm weights and yesterday I did leg weights.  It sure feels GOOD to get back to that.

AND it’s better for me…increased muscle mass means that when I do lose weight it will be FAT and not muscle and the increased metabolic activity of muscle vs. fat means that my body is burning more calories at rest than before…all GOOD news!!

It’s hot and humid today.

Highlight of the day….dinner — cheeseburg salad — our FAVE!

Drudgery of the day…cleaning the tub — I swear I just did it but of course it’s been a while…it needed it!


I’m excited for our plans for tomorrow night — a ride 🙂
