Phone fixed.

Looking at my phone right now you would never know that the screen was completely shattered yesterday.  Amazing what $109 can do, right?  Yup, it cost me that much.  SIGH.

But at least it’s done and I’ll NEVER take it to the gym again!!

We were out of the house by 11 am to get to the mall for our 11:30 am appointment.  After dropping the phone off, we headed up to Target to pick up a few things.  We also stopped in to Best Buy because Kimm was thinking of picking up a few CDs but then she changed her mind.  Lunch was pretzel bites…our normal fare when we are at the mall…yumm.  And then it was time to pick up our phone.  The guy who checked us out also filled us in on setting the pass code with our fingerprint (pretty cool) and how to pay with ApplePay (the phone stores a credit card on it but when you hold your phone up to pay at participating stores, it creates a “fake” card number that is used only one time and then disappears, thus making it incredibly difficult for identify theft).

We got caught in some traffic coming home by the West Springfield high school…it seems like they have a cop there who pretty much only lets cars out of the high school instead of letting traffic on the road go by.  It took us TWENTY minutes to get past that area.  Needless to say, Kimm was saying a few choice words by the time we got through it all.

We took Izzy for a walk when we got home and then just relaxed.  Going out to the mall like that tired us both out and we said “nah” to the gym 🙂

We ate an early dinner (chicken sandwich and fries) and now I’m probably going to take a nap to rest up for working tonight.  Only on for TWO.
