Ahhh…days off…LOVE them.
Breakfast was scrambled eggs and black coffee (this time Nantucket…more mild and therefore better tasting).
Some knitting and reading 🙂
I FINALLY changed over the sheets again and dusted/swept the bedroom…seriously I don’t know how I get so behind on that!
When she woke up, Kimm was feeling not so great. She had started to experience some symptoms of a UTI yesterday, but was hoping with rest and a LOT of water, she would start feeling better. Well, she was not that lucky — more urgency, more pain while voiding today. So she called and was able to get an appointment with a physician assistant in Westfield. The appointment was for 1 pm and we got there just in time.
The PA was super nice. Based on Kimm’s symptoms and urinalysis, she confirmed a UTI. She was placed on an antibiotic for 7 days and given some Pyridium to take for the pain/urgency.
We were able to pick up those on the way home. I hope they start working fast.
Later in the afternoon, our new dryer was delivered. No more black dryer. The new one is a lot bigger inside. Wow, will be interesting to use. The only think I don’t like about it is that the door is not flush with the entire machine — it kind of sticks out about a quarter of an inch. It’s not an error, it’s supposed to be like that — I just don’t think it looks good like that. We didn’t need the new hose that we “had” to buy either, the guy who delivered said it would not fit, so we just continued to use the old one.
Dinner was spaghetti, corn and a salad, followed by raspberries for dessert.
I think there was a short nap afterwards 🙂
Now we are relaxing and then going to watch some Grey’s Anatomy before bed!
