I finally got back to yoga again.
And it feels so good 🙂
There really is nothing like the stretch and heat from a gentle yoga session. I REALLY need to make this a priority in my life again. I never regret it.
I can’t believe today is over…it really went so fast.
Breakfast with a book.
Lunch (a big salad with lots of veggies, followed by some blueberries).
An afternoon nursing webinar (alarm fatigue…0.5 continuing ed credits earned).
Kimm and I made dinner again together…this time the results were not nearly as good as our last meal, but the making it together part was fun! We made Grilled Corn and Avocado Pasta Salad. The pasta and ingredients were good, but the dressing we didn’t really care for…it was WAY too olive-oil tasting. It definitely could be good with a different dressing so we are not completely giving up on the recipe yet…the corn and onions in the pasta salad were great!
Barnes and Noble trip. Kimm looked at a bunch of gardening books and got completely overwhelmed! I sped-read a book on mindfulness (how ironic is that?!). The cafe selections turned out to be a shared sugar cookie (delicious), a toffee nut latte (for me…which was pretty good…not too sweet, not too bitter), and a S’mores Frappacino for Kimm (after a HORRIBLE Mocha Coconut Frappacino…Kimm happened to see that they had added back the coconut syrup and wanted to try her beloved MCF that she has loved in the past…unfortunately, the coconut syrup was that really licorice tasting one that really is disgusting…even I could not finish the drink and I like pretty much anything sweet). Kimm ended up buying a book and a journal…nothing for me!
It’s still WICKED humid. And we forgot to turn on the AC before we left so now we are going to watch a Grey’s before heading up to bed.
