A busy day off.
After walking and eating breakfast, we headed out to Target to get some stuff for a basket we are making for a Jack and Jack later this month (the drag shows that we go to…the host and his boyfriend are getting married).
Our basket is “Christmas Movie Night” — we are ordering some of our favorite Christmas DVDs from Amazon and we have a fuzzy red plaid blanket — we want to get two Christmas mugs, some hot cocoa, some chocolate and candy canes.
We found THE CUTEST mugs — one says “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and the other says “Let It Snow” — two kinds of hot cocoa — marshmallow lover’s and peppermint — regular Christmas colored M&M’s and some candy canes. We found a wood tray to put everything on — something that can be used to carry the hot cocoa on but also be used every other day of the year. The movies we ordered are…Elf, Christmas with the Kranks, The Holiday, and The Family Stone. I think it is going to be SUCH a cute basket!!!
We also got other stuff at Target — gloves, I got a scarf, some health and hygiene stuff, some Christmas cards, Christmas pencils. It was a fun trip.
We got home late so quickly ate some egg sandwiches and then pretty much showered and headed out to meet up with some old friends who live in Holyoke, close to where we used to live. We decided to order out Chinese and it was from the place we used to love in Holyoke.
The food was SO good…we really missed that good Chinese. We haven’t been able to find such a good place for Chinese food here in Agawam, unfortunately. We had veggie fried rice, veggie lo mein, sesame tofu (SO, SO, SO good!) and veggie spring rolls. After eating we sat and chatted, while playing with our friends two dogs. We left about 9:15.
At that point we were tired! But not too tired to finish the night off with Criminal Minds — the finale of a season (Emily is back!!)
