I woke up even SORER than I was yesterday! Darn gym…you make it hurt so good.

Baking a bit in the kitchen! I made Strawberry Rhubarb Crumb Bars. It was therapeutic…just cutting the rhubarb and the strawberries, mixing the dry and wet ingredients, layering the bars. The kitchen smelled SO good while they were baking.
Lunch was a repeat of yesterday…fried egg sandwich with the Strawberry Rhubarb Crumb Bar for dessert. It was good, but it wasn’t WOW good. I’m not sure I like the mixture of strawberry and rhubarb that much. I made this recipe because I had strawberries on their last legs. Each bar was 221 calories, so was it 221 calories good?? I don’t think so. But we will eat them up…they are still pretty good!
The rest of the afternoon was spent finishing our May finance meeting. We saved quite a bit (thank you overtime). Our home improvement fund is rising quite nicely. Now we just have to figure out what we are going to spend it on…
Dinner was simple…leftover pizza and mac and cheese bites. More Strawberry Rhubarb Crumb Bar for dessert.
Now I’m debating whether or not to do an easy yoga or just head into the shower before napping before work. Decisions, decisions…
